In this Amazon AWS video lesson we want to learn about Amazon (AWS) RDS Introduction, AWS Amazon RDS (Relational Database Service) is fully managed database service provided by Amazon Web Services (AWS). it allows users to easily create, manage and scale relational databases in the cloud. Amazon RDS supports different popular relational database engines, including MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server and Amazon Aurora. users can launch database instance in minutes without having to worry about the underlying infrastructure, software installation or maintenance.
Amazon RDS provides several benefits including automatic backups, software patching and database scaling. users can easily scale their databases up or down to meet their changing needs and can also set up automated backups and restore points for disaster recovery.
Amazon RDS also provides security features including network isolation, encryption of data at rest and in transit, and integration with AWS Identity and Access Management (IAM) for fine grained access control.
