Python Flask & AWS
About Lesson

In this video we want to learn about Flask Configuration with Amazon RDS, we already have talked about Amazon RDS, Amazon RDS (Relational Database Service) is web service provided by Amazon Web Services (AWS) that makes it easy to set up, operate and scale relational database in the cloud. Amazon RDS is designed to simplify the process of setting up, operating and scaling relational database on AWS.

With Amazon RDS, you can choose from several popular database engines, including Amazon Aurora, MySQL, PostgreSQL, MariaDB, Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server. Amazon RDS takes care of time consuming administrative tasks such as hardware provisioning, software patching, database backups, and software upgrades. This allows you to focus on your application development rather than managing infrastructure.

Amazon RDS is fully managed service, which means that AWS takes care of the infrastructure and management tasks, while you are responsible for managing your database content, access and security. this allows you to easily create, manage and scale your relational database without needing to worry about the underlying infrastructure.
